The admissions procedure is designed to be fair, open and transparent.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div class=\"sws-introduction\">\n<p>Places are offered to students irrespective of academic ability, although children with special needs and learning difficulties will be assessed carefully to determine whether the School is able to effectively address their individual needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The process of Admission takes place as follows.[\/vc_column_text][gt3_spacing height=&#8221;40px&#8221;][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Make the Application ready&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1527153969003-2677faf5-c283&#8243;][vc_column_text]Application can be found either by<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Downloading from school web site <strong>or<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Referring the Newspaper article published on the months of March and April.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Make other documents ready&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1527153969026-1364229a-56d6&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>Along with the application, following documents of the child should also be submitted.For student:<\/p>\n<li>Original Birth Certificate (Certified English Translation of Birth Certificate for Non-Sri Lankans)<\/li>\n<li>Copy of the information page of the passport (page 2)<\/li>\n<li>Copy of the visa page of the passport<\/li>\n<li>1 Photograph in blue background<\/li>\n<li>Progress Report from the previous School.<\/li>\n<li>Leaving certificate of the previous school or equivalent document to prove the current grade of the child. (If the child admission is to Year 2 or above)<\/li>\n<li>In case of children from the Schools in the Sultanate of Oman, a no objection certificate from the current School should be presented. Further, as per the Ministry decree such transfer should be subjected to Ministry of Education Approval.<\/li>\n<li>Copy of the vaccination card<\/li>\n<li>Medical certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>For Parents:<\/p>\n<li>Copy of Marriage certificate<\/li>\n<li>Copy of the information page of the passport (page 2)<\/li>\n<li>Copy of the visa page of the passport<\/li>\n<li>Letter of salary confirmation from employer<\/li>\n<li>Bank statement for the last 3 months<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Both parents to attend the interviews with Principal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Submit the Application and other documents&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1527154036024-3656bdf9-05b5&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li>Once the <strong>application<\/strong> and <strong>other documents<\/strong> of the child are ready, parents can submit them to the <strong>Department of Administration of Sri Lankan School Muscat<\/strong> on or before the dead line. (Dead line to submit the application and other documents will be informed at the time of collecting the application as well as on the school website. )<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Admission to the School is based on the following things:&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1527487886501-dedc3db8-ce41&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Interview\u00a0<\/strong>usually with the<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head of the Primary School when seeking admission to the Primary School;<\/li>\n<li>Head of Key Stage (Pastoral Leader) when seeking admission to the Senior School.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These interviews will give you an opportunity to discuss the curriculum, subject choice and school life.
