Welcome to Key Stage 2

Sri Lankan School Muscat follows the English National Curriculum and has categorized the classes into Key Stage 2 with students aged between 07 to 10/11. The students of this stage learn seven formally assessed subjects, i.e. English Languages, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Environmental Studies, Mother-Language/tongue, and Art & Design.

Apart from those subjects mentioned above, the students learn Global Citizenship Education, Arabic, Physical Education and Music which do not have summative assessment.

Before the students sit for their term examinations, their academic progress is assessed by monthly tests and many formative assessments in between. In addition to this, as a means of tracking their overall personal development, the school has introduced a student monitoring system that records individual’s focus, attitudes, attendance and general behaviour.
